Püschner Chamber Ovens

Heating has become important in almost all areas of industrial processing. Apart from the popular conventional procedures based on conduction, convection, or infra-red radiation, heating utilizing microwave energy is an attractive solution to many problems in process technology.

Püschner chamber ovens are used for a wide range of heating and drying applications. Starting from small lab scale microwave ovens up to big chamber ovens, many applications have been successfully installed.

Application Examples

In the cosmetic industry, the procedure of liquefying raw materials is often the limiting factor for modern and flexible production.

The microwave plants of the µWavePower 20/200 series are capable of shortening the times required for heating.

Fully automatic heating minimises man power and product-specific heating programmes guarantee stable product properties (e.g. defined viscosity etc.).

Figure 1 shows a plant type to heat 200 kg barrels.
