Microwave Heating

For heating with higher frequencies (over 300 MHz) the term microwave heating is used. The microwave energy generated by a magnetron, either directly or by means of intermediate waveguides, is transmitted into the heat chamber in which the material to be processed is placed (Figure 1). To gain more uniform heating, a rotating dish or a fan-shaped mode stirrer are often implemented into the chamber design.
